Many of our customers spend considerable time managing attendance and reducing sick leave.   Imperative for improving attendance is to involve managers and employees in the process.   Managers should know what their own unit’s sick leave percentage is and how this compares to the rest of the organisation, as well as knowing how attendance has developed over time, and what the target attendance level is.

By displaying an attendance and sick leave dashboard on the manager’s start page, with the capability to drill down to the individual employee level, every manager can have a better understanding and improved ability to reduce sick leave.

Above is an example of the dashboard showing sick leave percentages over time.  Each data point is colour coded in a traffic light style to show the level in comparison to the organisation’s targets.  In this example, sick leave less than 3.5% qualifies as green, less than 5% as yellow and above 5% as red.  By clicking on an individual point the manager can drill down in to the data.
